Success Story

Challenge: A pharmaceutical client wanted to substantially increase the number of quality sales calls in order to increase revenue and market share. 

Approach: Applied Lean Six Sigma techniques to streamline the field selling process, thereby freeing up time available for field representatives to make more calls. Then, root cause analysis was used to eliminate barriers to making more calls.

Results: Increased number of quality calls by 6%, resulting in $60 million in additional revenue per year. The new process was also applied to the launch of a major new product, resulting in a highly successful field launch.
